AI Content Management Improvements

Could editing and maintaining the content of your site get any smarter and easier than AI?
Many of our Absolutely Interactive (AI) clients have gained benefit from a number of significant enhancements to the AI system - this is a round of those added over the last few months:
1. WYSISWG Edit Control
The Absolutely Interactive HTML Edit Control allows you to format your web site content in a similar way to off-the-shelf products such as Microsoft Word.
The HTML Edit control is used on body-like or feature-like areas of your web pages and when you see this used in the web form when you edit content, you have full access to text formatting, creating links, anchors, paragraph alignments, bullets and including images on the page....
2. Author and Owner Management
Another key enhancement surrounds improvements to authorisation, security and access to various administration components of your AI web site. This feature enables multiple authors to be created and managed by super-users. These authors can have a variety of permissions provided to them that may limit their authoring access to parts of your site and indeed may limit them to only draft capability for new or existing content.
When draft content is created on a part of your site, it can and will only be published when it is approved by the owner of that area of the site. The approval and decline status of new draft content and the workflow associated with it are all automatically managed by AI through automated emails containing links for the process actions.
Multiple authorship for content management has also been extended to our AI eMarketing solution at the same time.
3. Authoring Audit Reports
When this feature is enabled on your site, all edits and updates on the site are audited by author, page, area and date/time. Thus, all history of site chnages is recorded. Only priovileged administrators have access to this feature of course.
4. Asset Library Browser
A new simple browsing facility has been created to allow all images to be selected for inclusion into a web page via a popup browser that will show you automatically generated thumbnails of all of your image library online. It can also show you full-size versions of your images via a preview option that can be used to verify image selection and quality prior to insertion into your web copy.
